The Tra Que Vegetable Village is located about 3 km from the ancient town of Hoi An, nestled alongside the Co Co River. In recent years, Tra Que has become a popular tourist and relaxation destination, especially for foreign visitors, thanks to its peaceful scenery and fresh, pleasant atmosphere. In addition to a range of accommodation options, the area now also boasts several cafes, characterized by spacious garden settings, perfect for a chill-out session and attracting young locals to check in.

1. Slow Café

Slow Café enjoys a prime location in the heart of Tra Que Village, offering a stunning view of the vibrant green vegetable plots. This advantage also makes it an ideal resting spot for visitors exploring the vegetable village. The cafe features both indoor and outdoor seating with rustic wooden furniture. In addition to the cool and shady garden setting, the coffee quality is also a highlight here.

Slow primarily serves machine-brewed coffee, using specialty coffee beans, along with a selection of basic pastries. Prices start at 50,000 VND.

2. Rao Café

Similar to Slow Café, Rao Café also boasts a direct view of Tra Que’s vegetable gardens, but with a more spacious indoor and outdoor setting. From the courtyard, guests can take in the entire lush green vegetable village and observe the diligent farmers tending and harvesting their produce early in the morning. The cafe incorporates a traditional garden house design with antique panel doors. The exterior walls are painted in Hoi An’s characteristic yellow, making it stand out amidst the green surroundings.

Rao specializes in traditional Vietnamese drip coffee, offering more affordable prices, starting at 25,000 VND, compared to specialty coffee shops.

3. Fefe Coffee

Fefe Coffee is located about 3 km from Tra Que Vegetable Village, in Ben Tre hamlet, and stands out for its pervasive green theme, both inside and out. The entire cafe is enveloped in greenery, from the long pathways on either side to the individual seating areas. The tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for relaxation and conversation with friends.

The spacious seating and peaceful ambiance also make it a suitable place to work. A unique feature of the Ben Tre branch is the coffee roasting and grinding workshop, where visitors can learn about and observe the coffee bean screening and processing steps. Drink prices start at an affordable 30,000 VND.
