1. Old wallet with remaining money and documents

A wallet is not just a container for money but is also considered a “mini safe” representing an individual’s financial luck. When a wallet becomes old and worn out, getting a new one is necessary. However, one should never discard the old wallet carelessly, especially if it still contains loose change, personal documents, family photos, or small feng shui items such as amulets and lucky coins.

Why? Discarding a wallet is akin to throwing away one’s financial energy, displeasing the God of Wealth. Instead, clean out the wallet, remove all documents, and carefully wrap it before burning or burying it in a clean place to respectfully bid farewell to the old luck.

2. Used incense burner and incense plate for worship

The incense burner and incense plate serve as a connection between humans and their ancestors or deities. Whether used for worshipping Buddha, the God of Earth, or the God of Wealth, they must be treated with care and kept clean. When replacing them, never throw the old ones into the trash or a polluted place.
