Officer Phi, while on duty at Hon Cau, stumbled upon a massive, banana-yellow coral reef that had washed up on the shore. She described the coral as very soft, as it had just bloomed.
According to Phi, this is a new species of coral in Hon Cau and has yet to be named.

Hon Cau boasts a primitive coral reef stretching over 2 km, with 234 varieties, creating a colorful canvas on the ocean floor.
The area is also home to more than 34 rare species, including sea turtles, dolphins, and more, contributing to marine biodiversity.
