She shared, ‘This interesting restaurant in Shanghai is not just a dining place but also an entertainment hub, with a two-hour-long performance during dinner. The artists continuously interact with the audience, and the shows are spread across the restaurant, not limited to the stage, easily arousing excitement. It’s perfect for a weekend evening.’

H’Hen Niê extended her stay in Shanghai after a work trip. After exploring some of the city’s main attractions, she took a train to a ancient town in Suzhou, about 100 km from Shanghai. The ancient town, situated by a green canal, boasts ancient houses covered in ivy. H’Hen Niê paused at a tea house, relaxing with a book and enjoying a cup of tea.

She also sampled the spicy and sour fish hot pot, a specialty of Sichuan, and Shanghai’s famous crab noodle soup. H’Hen Niê described the noodle soup as abundant in crab roe and easy to eat, especially when paired with pickled beans.

Thanh Hằng visited the ancient town of Qibao on the outskirts of Shanghai, after checking out the Shanghai Pier, and the bustling Nanjing Road. Qibao, a town by the canal, dates back to the Northern Song Dynasty and was once a thriving commercial center. To this day, it retains its ancient architecture and historical tales.

The beauty was recommended several renowned restaurants in Shanghai by her friends, including one where she savored herbal chicken hot pot and crab noodles. She dined at Chenglong Hang, a restaurant that has won numerous domestic and international culinary awards, including multiple years of Michelin star recognition.

Adrian Anh Tuấn visited the ancient town of Wuzhen. Being a frequent traveler to China, the designer is well-versed in the country’s tourist attractions. He shared, ‘Just a two-hour drive from Shanghai, and you find yourself transported back 1,300 years to the ancient village of Wuzhen. It’s so picturesque that you’ll want to stay forever. I had to leave for an event in Saigon, but I’ll definitely be back. If you’re in Shanghai, don’t miss out on this place.’

Lan Ngọc and her friends strolled along the Huangpu River, taking in the dazzling lights of Pudong. This spot attracts tourists from all over the world. The actress also indulged in the famous crab noodles and some unique take-away drinks.

Stylist Pông Chuẩn and her friends experienced the Shanghai metro. She posed in front of the Shanghai Pier and the Huangpu River, admiring the view. ‘Shanghai is a blend of ancient and modern charm. The alleys are captivating. The best part of the trip was seeing osmanthus flowers in full bloom after watching countless videos about osmanthus desserts and drinks. The fragrance filled the air, and it was a true delight,’ she shared.

Khả Ngân went on a food tour, tasting various specialties in Shanghai, such as beef ball noodles, crab noodles, and crab rice at Cejerdary restaurant. A bowl of these delicious noodles costs over 300 yuan, which is more than one million VND.

Midu visited the ancient town of Shantang in Suzhou, spending a day exploring the area. During the day, she admired the green waters and ancient houses covered in ivy. In the evening, she strolled along the canal, watching the boats go by. Midu also experienced traditional Chinese hair and makeup styling and wore a Tang Dynasty costume. Afterward, she attended a traditional Chinese imperial banquet.

Salim and her husband were awe-struck by the night view of Wuzhen and wandered through the ancient town of Xintiandi, known for its characteristic stone-paved alleys in Shanghai.
