The Suối Mỡ tourist area is conveniently located just 30km from Bac Giang Ward (old Bac Giang City) and 80km from Hanoi, which is about a 1.5-hour drive. This makes it a popular destination for weekend getaways.

Phạm Hoài Thu (21 years old), a native of Bắc Ninh (old Bắc Giang province), has visited Suối Mỡ tourist area several times and commented that the site boasts beautiful, pristine scenery and a cool atmosphere thanks to its abundant greenery, waterfalls, and vast meadows.
“Each trip to Suối Mỡ is a wonderful and interesting experience. The tourist area is vast, with temple spaces nestled in the mountains and streams flowing from Suối Mỡ and Thùm Thùm waterfalls.”
“During holidays and festivals, many visitors come here to sightsee and picnic,” Thu shared.

The young woman added that the Suối Mỡ tourist area is quite extensive, with the main attractions being the Hạ Temple, Trung Temple, Trần Triều Temple, and Thượng Temple. These temples are scattered along the route from the foot of the mountain to its peak, with the final destination being the Thùm Thùm Waterfall.
In addition, there are other temples within the complex, such as the Lệch Boy Temple, the Cô Bé Temple, and the Cô Chín Thượng Ngàn Temple. Thus, visitors to Suối Mỡ can not only engage in religious activities but also explore the historical and cultural aspects preserved in these temples.

Summer is the peak season for Suối Mỡ, offering various refreshing activities such as waterfall bathing, swimming, and boating.
The weather remains pleasant, and the waterfalls and streams are brimming with cool water, providing an enjoyable experience for visitors.
Đinh Kiều Trang (24 years old, from Bắc Ninh) shared a popular spot within the Suối Mỡ area that many visitors enjoy and seek out for photo opportunities: the meadow in the heart of the Suối Mỡ lake, not far from the Cô Bé Nùng Temple.

According to Trang, this meadow only appears during the summer when the water recedes. For the rest of the year, the water level in the lake is high. “Visitors can access the meadow from the direction of the Cô Bé Nùng Temple or via the Trần Temple,” she said.
Trang also mentioned that visitors can camp and organize outdoor barbecues in this lush meadow area.
“At sunset, the meadow takes on an even more enchanting and romantic atmosphere. This is the perfect time for visitors to capture impressive and memorable photos,” said Kiều Trang.

The 10X also mentioned that the road to the Suối Mỡ tourist area has been well-invested and developed, making it spacious and convenient for visitors to travel to the various attractions.
The tourist area is open all year round, and the entrance fee is 30,000 VND/person.
When visiting Suối Mỡ, it is recommended to wear modest and comfortable clothing, especially when visiting temples and shrines. However, when enjoying the streams, waterfalls, and meadows, you can opt for more casual and relaxed attire.
Additionally, visitors are requested to maintain environmental hygiene and comply with the regulations during their stay at the tourist area.
About 30km from Suối Mỡ is the Tây Yên Tử tourist area, which can be explored in combination with a visit to Suối Mỡ.
