Tan Lap Floating Village

One of Long An’s most famous destinations, located on National Highway 62, in Tan Lap commune, Moc Hoa district. The floating village covers an area of about 135 hectares in the heart of Dong Thap Muoi, flooded year-round. Visitors can immerse themselves in the green space of the wetland ecosystem and observe a variety of birds, storks, and fish.

The village is at its most beautiful from August to December when the fields are flooded. Lotuses and water lilies bloom, creating a picturesque and peaceful scene. From the 38-meter-high tower, visitors can take in the full view of the tram forest. A popular choice is the walking trail through the forest, a 5-kilometer-long, one-meter-wide winding path where visitors can take beautiful photos and discover the flora and fauna along the way.

Three-leaf boats and motorboats are also available for a unique touring experience. Gliding through the water, visitors can explore different corners of the forest and appreciate its beauty. The tourist area also offers many restaurants serving Western specialties such as grilled snakehead fish, clay pot catfish, and sour soup.

Vam Co Farmstay

Located in An Thanh commune, Ben Luc district, about 30 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, Vam Co Farmstay is a provincial tourist attraction covering more than 2 hectares, combining eco-tourism and experiential activities. Nestled in a rural area, it offers a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Visitors can tour the farm and fruit gardens and participate in local farming activities. Those who love the river environment can fish in Ben Luc River, boat to pick palm fruits and coconuts, and try stand-up paddle boarding. Other activities include catching fish in the pond and making Vietnamese pancakes, a traditional dish of Southern Vietnam.

The site also offers overnight accommodations, local cuisine, and team-building games. It serves 200,000 visitors annually.

The site does not offer many entertainment options. Instead, it is a place to relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Notable activities include bonfires, boating, fishing, and barbecues in the fields. Watching the sunrise and having coffee in the misty rice fields are also popular experiences.

Endless Field Resort

This resort, about 80 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, served as the backdrop for the movie of the same name. Located in the Center for Research, Conservation, and Development of Dong Thap Muoi Medicinal Plants, Moc Hoa district, it boasts over 1,000 hectares of centuries-old native tram forest and a “medicine forest” preserving over 80 types of rare medicinal plant genes.

A popular activity is visiting the tram forest by “vo lai” (a type of motorboat) to admire the blooming water lilies and flying storks and herons. The fragrant and shady tram forest provides a pleasant experience. Visitors can also tour the essential oil factory and see various medicinal plants and products made from them.
