With a name symbolic of affluence (“Kim” meaning gold, and “Tiền” denoting money), the Money Tree is often placed in homes, offices, or business premises to attract good luck and enhance financial situations. However, according to Feng Shui principles, not everyone is suited to growing this plant. Based on the five elements theory, there are two destinies that should refrain from cultivating the Money Tree to avoid financial and life disadvantages.

People With the Earth Destiny – Incompatible With the Money Tree

The Money Tree belongs to the Wood element, and according to the five elements theory, Wood restrains Earth. The robust Wood energy of the plant can overpower and weaken the energy of those with the Earth destiny. When an Earth destiny individual cultivates the Money Tree, their intrinsic energy may be depleted, leading to challenges in accumulating wealth, financial losses, or inefficient investments. Safety: The leaves and stems contain calcium oxalate, which can be irritating if touched or ingested, so keep the plant out of reach of children and pets.
