Prepare 3 cups of rice wine. 2 candles symbolizing wealth and showing respect and sincerity to the gods. 3 incense sticks: Since this is the “Year of the Dragon,” it symbolizes the soaring dragon crossing the sea, so light 3 incense sticks. These incense sticks should be used by the male head of the family or the person leading the ceremony.

After completing the ritual, the candles can be placed in a container filled with aromatic ash (preferably high-grade golden sand).

Light and Music

Determine the Direction

In every place of worship, in every corner, on this New Year’s Day, I, the believer, have prepared incense and flowers, arranged offerings on the altar, and respectfully invited the gods. I humbly pray for the divine presence, the early arrival before the altar, witnessing our heartfelt gratitude for receiving the offerings. The worship area and its surroundings must be clean and solemn. It is absolutely prohibited to place the altar near the toilet, kitchen, or dirty area.
