Ok Google is a voice search tool created and developed by Google. Its function is to help users interact with devices (phones, TVs, etc.) through voice. Simply put, instead of searching by traditional typing, you can now use voice search, which is not only fast but also accurate.

The most special feature of Ok Google lies in its ability to quickly search for information. You can search, lookup information on certain issues, find directions, send messages, and even control electronic devices in your home with just a short voice command.

In addition, this smart virtual assistant also has a Voice Match feature that recognizes the user’s voice and retrieves personal information such as search history and event schedules. This helps enhance security and convenience for users when using Ok Google.

To experience the Ok Google feature on devices running the Android operating system, simply activate it by saying Ok Google or touch the assistant icon on the home screen.

To enable this feature on your phone, open the Google app or Google Assistant settings. From there, you can enable the ‘Voice Match’ setting, which allows your device to recognize your voice and respond to your voice commands. You may also be required to set up a ‘Trusted Voice’ by training your device to recognize your voice.

Once it’s set up, you can activate Google Assistant by saying ‘Ok Google’ or ‘Hey Google’. You can then ask it questions, send commands, or have it perform tasks for you, such as sending messages, making calls, setting reminders, playing music, and getting information.

You can ask a variety of questions and give commands to Google Assistant. This includes asking for directions, checking the weather, setting alarms, translating languages, controlling smart home devices, getting sports updates, playing games, and more. You can also ask follow-up questions for more specific information.

To improve voice recognition, ensure a quiet environment when giving commands. You can also retrain your ‘Trusted Voice’ by saying ‘Ok Google’ a few times, and providing more voice samples to help the device better recognize your voice.
