Ingredients:

Fried tofu, cut into large pieces.

Minced meat.

Eggs.

Scallions, mushrooms, tomatoes.

Seasonings: Cooking oil, oyster sauce, seasoning powder, fish sauce, tomato paste, sugar, pepper, and more.

Instructions:

Prepare the tofu: Cut off one end of the tofu and scoop out the soft insides.

Prepare the mushrooms: Soak the mushrooms until they soften, then rinse and chop finely.

Prepare the scallions: Wash the scallions, cut off the ends for decoration, and chop the leaves finely. Blanch some scallions to tie around the tofu ends.

Prepare the tomatoes: Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges.

Make the stuffing: In a bowl, combine the minced meat, chopped mushrooms, egg, tofu innards, and chopped scallions. Season to taste, and mix well.

Stuff the tofu: Fill the prepared tofu shells with the mixture, leaving a section to tie off. Use blanched scallions to tie off the ends.

Sauté the tomatoes: Fry the chopped scallions in a pan until fragrant, then add the tomatoes and cook until soft. Season with oyster sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and seasoning powder.

Cook the tofu: Add a little water to the sauce, then arrange the stuffed tofu in the pan. Simmer over low heat, covered, for about 15 minutes to cook the stuffing and absorb the flavors. Finally, sprinkle with chopped scallions and remove from heat.

Presentation: Arrange the tofu on a plate, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with scallion ends.

Serve immediately while still hot to enjoy the wonderful flavors!

Mix the meat: In a large bowl, combine the minced meat, squeezed bread, onion, and some powdered broth and pepper. Mix well and let the mixture marinate for 5-7 minutes. Set aside a small portion of the onion.

Form the meatballs: Grease a plate with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Use your hands to form the meat mixture into round meatballs and place them on the plate.

Cook the meatballs: Place the plate of meatballs in a steamer or cover tightly with plastic wrap and microwave for about 10 minutes, or until the meat is cooked. Drain and reserve the meat juices.

Make the sauce: Heat oil in a pan, add the remaining onion, and fry until fragrant. Then, add the tomatoes and cook until soft. Pour in the tomato sauce and reserved meat juices. Season to taste.

Finish the dish: Add the cooked meatballs to the pan, stirring gently to coat them in the sauce. Simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens. Turn off the heat, plate the meatballs, and sprinkle with scallions and coriander.
