Parents make decisions for their children
In order to enhance a child’s intelligence, parents need to stimulate them to use their brain and think regularly. The same goes for adults, as without constantly presenting problems and thinking about them, they will become slow, let alone young children who are in the process of development.
Many parents have the habit of making decisions for their children and helping them solve problems. Doing so means not encouraging children to think and reason. In the long run, it will affect the functioning of the child’s brain and hinder their chances of developing intelligence.
The alternative solution is for parents to encourage children to learn how to think for themselves and use their brains more. For example, when playing with dolls, parents can role play and interact with the child as if they were close friends.
Alternatively, parents can use dolls to tell vivid stories to children, broaden their horizons, and learn additional knowledge.
Children overeat for a long time
Living conditions are getting better, and parents are paying more attention to their children’s diet. However, some parents, due to being overly indulgent, allow their children to eat whatever they like. Unhealthy, high-calorie meals can have several effects on a child’s physical and mental development, such as:
– Disrupting the nervous system function, causing lack of focus, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. This will affect the child’s ability to absorb knowledge the next day.
– Disrupting sleep, often occurring when a child eats excessively at night. At this time, the child’s body needs to digest food while trying to rest, which reduces the quality of sleep.
– Metabolic disorders, weight gain, obesity, and related health problems. Over time, these can affect the functioning of the nervous system.
– Nutritional imbalance, which can lead to deficiencies or excessive amounts of certain important nutrients.
It is best for parents to provide their children with a balanced, nutritious diet. At the same time, encourage children to exercise regularly to maintain a balance between energy consumption and expenditure.
Boring living environment
The living environment also affects a child’s intelligence. Some children have to live in a monotonous and unstimulating environment for a long time. This limits their intellectual development.
For example, if parents are too busy and entrust their children to caregivers for a long time, the child will not receive direct guidance from their parents. As a result, they may struggle to develop on par with their peers.
Living in a boring environment with little activity makes children lack interest and motivation to explore and learn. They also do not have the opportunity to stimulate curiosity, exploration, and thinking in various situations.
When children are not properly guided and educated, they often encounter difficulties in acquiring knowledge or developing necessary skills. A good educational foundation provides children with opportunities to learn, explore, and develop their talents.
