Vinamilk has been a trusted brand for over 40 years, with many elderly consumers loyally using their products, from the iconic Ong Tho condensed milk to their current range of fresh and powdered milk, including Vinamilk Sure Prevent Gold.
However, for the first time, a group of seniors from the Club of the Elderly in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, had the opportunity to witness the inner workings of Vinamilk’s massive and state-of-the-art mega dairy factory.
The group was introduced to Vinamilk’s modern system of 13 factories across Vietnam, including the impressive Mega Factory in Binh Duong province, which has a capacity of over 800 million liters per year.
One of the highlights of the tour was the introduction to the massive tank system, a symbol of the Mega Factory. With a capacity of up to 150m3 per tank, the raw milk is always maintained at a stable temperature to ensure quality before entering the production and packaging process.
The seniors observed and learned about the various stages of processing, bottling, and packaging from outside the glass doors. These areas are completely enclosed and have minimal human intervention to ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety. All processes are automated and handled by robots and machines.
The group was amazed to learn about the modern filling line, capable of producing seven boxes of milk in just a blink of an eye (one second). Ms. Tran Thi Le, a long-time user of Vinamilk products, shared her impression: “I have been using Vinamilk products for over 40 years. I am truly impressed by the size and modernity of this factory. Everything is enclosed and automated, with machines handling most of the work. Seeing the production process first-hand makes me feel even more confident about my family’s choice to trust Vinamilk all these years.”
The group spent a considerable amount of time in the smart warehouse, fascinated by the operation of the 17-story rack system, capable of holding nearly 30,000 lots of goods but requiring only one operator through a central control system. They were in awe as they watched the synchronized movement of the sliding racks, efficiently moving goods in and out according to pre-programmed instructions.
“My family has been using Vinamilk products for decades,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh. “I’ve always dreamed of visiting Vietnam’s largest dairy factory, and today, not only has my dream come true, but I also feel proud of Vinamilk for their meticulous and dedicated production process.” She added.
