3. Braised beef brisket

Ingredients:

– 200g beef tendon

– 200g American beef brisket

– 150g black fungus mushrooms

– 2 potatoes, 1 carrot, half an onion

– Chopped shallots, garlic, 2 lemongrass stalks, 1 pack of beef stew seasoning

– Seasonings: powdered seasoning, salt, peanut oil, cooking oil, sugar…

How to make:

Step 1: Wash and cut the lemongrass into 2cm-long pieces.

Step 2: Wash the mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. Cut the carrots and potatoes into bite-sized pieces, slice the onions thinly, and remove the stems of the black fungus mushrooms.

Step 3: Remove the odor of the American beef brisket and beef tendon by rubbing with salt and rinsing with clean water. Then, cut the beef tendon into bite-sized pieces.

3. Boiled beef brisket

Ingredients:

– 500g fresh beef brisket

– Raw vegetables: lettuce, mint,…

– 40ml good fish sauce

– Ginger, lemongrass, chopped chili, 1 lime

– Sugar, pepper, chili sauce, tomato sauce…

How to make:

Step 1: Wash the American beef brisket with a little salt to remove the odor. Note that you should be gentle to keep the beef brisket intact and not break apart.

Step 2: Pour 40ml of good fish sauce into a small bowl, then gradually add the following ingredients: half a lime, half a tablespoon of chili sauce, half a tablespoon of tomato sauce, half a tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of warm water, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

– 300g pork bones/ chicken bones

– Half an onion, 2 hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, 1 bag of shiitake mushrooms, 1 Chinese cabbage

– Pack of mushroom hot pot seasoning.

How to make:

Step 1: Wash and cut the accompanying vegetables and mushrooms. For shallots, remove the outer peel and cut into 4 small parts.

Step 2: Wash and quickly blanch the pork bones/ chicken bones with boiling water to remove impurities. Then, boil the bones with 1 liter of water and the shallots for 30 minutes to 1 hour to create a natural sweet taste for the hot pot broth.
