130g rice flour

20g tapioca starch

300g minced meat

A few shiitake mushrooms, coriander, and shallots.

How to Make Banh Duc Hot

– Soak the flour in 1 liter of water for about 45 minutes. Pour off the water on top, add 500ml of bone broth, a pinch of salt, and some cooking oil. Put the mixture on the stove and stir continuously until the flour is fully cooked (when it starts to bubble and crackle against the pot).

Stir the Flour

– Finely chop the shiitake mushrooms and sauté with the meat.

– Make a dipping sauce by mixing 3 parts water, 2 parts sugar, and 1 part fish sauce.

– Scoop the cooked flour into a bowl, add the meat, shallots, and coriander. Serve with the dipping sauce and enjoy!
