Phi Nhung’s daughter, Wendy Phạm, shares: “I’m incredibly proud of my husband, Tom. He has successfully passed his first board exam with an exceptionally high score! When I graduated as a nurse, my mother was there to celebrate with me.
Today, my husband and I wish more than anything that she could be here to share this joy. We know she would be the proudest, especially since Tom chose to become a respiratory therapist, inspired by her.”

Earlier in July 2025, Wendy Phạm expressed her joy as both she and her husband officially began working in the healthcare field. She noted that this was also her late mother’s wish.
Phi Nhung’s beloved daughter shared: “Today, we both work in healthcare, wearing our uniforms. We took this photo thinking of you, Mom. You once said you wanted Tom to work in the same field as me… and now, one of your wishes has come true. Your daughter and son-in-law are both in healthcare. You would be overjoyed to see this photo.”

Born in 1992, Wendy Phạm is the only daughter of singer Phi Nhung and works as a nurse in a U.S. hospital. From a young age, her mother kept her identity private to ensure a peaceful life. It wasn’t until the passing of the singer of *Bông điên điển* in 2021 that Wendy revealed her marriage to Tom Võ, a Vietnamese-American.
When Phi Nhung’s ashes were brought from Vietnam to the U.S. and handed to the family, Tom Võ, her son-in-law, tearfully promised to care for Wendy. He said emotionally: “Mom asked me dozens of times to promise to take care of Wendy, and I promise I will.”

Nearly four years after her mother’s passing, Wendy Phạm enjoys a peaceful life. After welcoming their sons Nathan and Nicholai, the couple married in 2022. In 2024, they welcomed their third child, a daughter named Madilyn Nhung Võ, honoring her late grandmother.
Wendy Phạm still deeply mourns her mother’s passing. She often shares memories of the singer and plays her mother’s music videos for her children to keep her memory alive.
Currently, Wendy Phạm enjoys a happy family life with her husband and three children.
Phi Nhung’s third grandchild was born in 2024, three years after the singer’s passing.
In August 2025, Wendy Phạm and her husband brought their three children back to Vietnam for a visit. This marked their first return since welcoming their third child.
The couple was warmly welcomed by Phi Nhung’s adopted children in Vietnam. The family’s reunion in front of the late singer’s portrait moved many.
Phi Nhung’s beloved daughter shared: “Vietnam feels like a warm embrace—always surrounded by family, laughter filling the air, children playing with grandparents and aunts, and love in every meal.”
