Hoang Phuc Pagoda, formerly known as Kinh Thien Pagoda or Tram Pagoda, is located in Thuan Trach ward, now part of My Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province. Covering an area of approximately 10,000 m², the pagoda sits on the banks of the Kien Giang River, about 4 km south of Le Thuy district center.
This ancient pagoda, over 300 years old, dates back to the Ly dynasty. It houses valuable artifacts, including statues of Quan Am Bodhisattva and Di Lac Bodhisattva, along with intricately crafted bronze ritual objects. Notably, the grand bell, standing 1.15 m tall with a body diameter of 0.57 m and a circumference of 1.45 m, was cast during the reign of King Minh Mang. The pagoda also features the Tam Quan gate and the Main Hall’s foundation, both remarkable architectural highlights.
