Laundry, especially folding clothes, always brings us “unspoken troubles”. Let’s admit it, sometimes because of exhaustion after a long day of work, looking at a high pile of clothes, you just want to throw them all into the wardrobe and lock it away from sight. But let’s face the reality, sooner or later you will have to take those pants and shirts out to wear, and at that time ironing will be even more difficult.
So instead of stuffing them into the wardrobe, try folding them right away using these methods below. It’s neat, and it also saves a lot of space in your wardrobe.
For short socks, place two socks on top of each other and then roll them up. Finally, flip the bottom edge of the socks and wrap the entire pair of socks. That’s it, the socks will be paired up, easy to find, and the wardrobe will be much more organized.

Even though you have separate compartments for underwear, it’s still a good idea to organize them neatly. Place the underwear on a flat surface, with the front side facing up. Next, fold the bottom part of the underwear to the back, creating a rectangle shape. Then, flip it over, fold the left and right edges inward to form a number 4 shape.

This t-shirt folding method only takes 2 seconds. First, place the t-shirt on a flat surface, with the front side of the shirt facing up and the left sleeve facing towards you. Next, use your right hand to pinch a small portion between the right shoulder of the shirt, and use your left hand to pinch the middle of the shirt, so that they align in a straight line. Make sure to tightly grip the back of the shirt as well. Then, keep your left hand in position, and with your right hand, circle it towards the end of the shirt, also pinching the bottom part of the shirt. Remember not to let go of the shoulder portion that was pinched first. Lift the shirt up in front of you, gently use your left hand to pull out the portion of fabric that was tightly pinched in the second step. Shake it gently and lay the shirt flat. Before laying it flat, make sure to fold the remaining sleeve part. That’s it, you’re done.

First, place the shirt on a flat surface, with the collar facing down. Then, place the cardboard or magazine right under the collar, fold the left sleeve in against the cardboard, and fold the shirt’s arm down. Do the same with the right sleeve. Next, fold the tail of the shirt up to the collar, and remove the cardboard or magazine. That’s it, you’re done.

Folding fitted sheets is a real challenge for all of us. Try this method. Fold the sheet in half to form a rectangle shape, and stack the elastic edges on top of each other. Then, fold it in half again. Now, place the sheet on a flat surface, tucking in the not-so-neat edges. Now everything is much easier, you just need to fold it smaller as usual.
