Mark your calendars for a special event: from 20:30 to 21:30 on March 25, 2023, all across the country, lights will be switched off for one hour to show support for this important cause.
2 Slogans for the Earth Hour 2023 Campaign
The Official Letter No. 1663/BTNMT-TTTT issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment features slogans for the Earth Hour 2023 campaign, including:

3 Actions to Support Earth Hour 2023
In response to Document No. 931/JH-UBND dated March 16, 2023, issued by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Industry and Trade requests that agencies and units:
“Shopping malls, supermarkets, and markets are encouraged to spread awareness among their staff about the purpose and significance of participating in Earth Hour to raise individual and collective consciousness about climate change and energy conservation. Let’s actively join Earth Hour by turning off lights, billboards, and advertisements from 20:30 to 21:30 on March 25, 2023.”
Additionally, we can take the following steps to further support Earth Hour:
- Display eco-friendly banners, streamers, and posters in public areas, streets, office buildings, and other suitable locations.
- Promote nature-based solutions for global climate, food security, and water resource issues, as well as for the livelihoods of people and the effective management of nature reserves.
