You can repurpose old fluorescent lamp fixtures to install LED bulbs as a cost-saving measure. The design of LED bulbs allows for simple and convenient installation and usage.
Single LED Tube installation
Connecting to fluorescent lamp fixtures using an iron inductor:
- Step 1: Start by removing the fluorescent lamp from the fixture.
- Step 2: Next, remove the lamp fixture cover.
- Step 3: Remove the starter from the fixture.
- Step 4: You have the option to remove or retain the iron inductor.
- Step 5: Finally, install the LED tube bulb.
Connecting to fluorescent lamp fixtures using an electronic ballast:
- Step 1: Remove the old fluorescent lamp from the fixture.
- Step 2: Remove the electronic ballast, then connect the wires of each end of the fixture together and connect them to the output end.
- Step 3: Install the LED tube bulb.
Double LED Tube installation
Installation of double LED tubes into fluorescent lamp fixtures follows a similar process to installing single LED tubes. The difference is that you use two single bulbs installed in the fixture.
2Installation of LED Tubes into LED Fixtures
Single LED Tube installation
- Step 1: Securely install the lamp fixture in the desired position for lighting.
- Step 2: Install the LED tube into the lamp fixture.
- Step 3: Connect to the power supply and check if the light is working.
Double LED Tube installation
- Step 1: Similar to installing single LED tubes, securely install the lamp fixture in the desired position.
- Step 2: Install 2 LED tube bulbs into the lamp fixture.
- Step 3: Connect to the power supply and check the result.
3Installation of Round LED Bulbs
Installation of round LED bulbs is a straightforward process. You can follow these steps:
- Step 1: Ensure all power is turned off, have dry hands, and prepare the bulb you want to use.
- Step 2: Remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
- Step 3: Install the LED bulb by turning it clockwise.
4Installation of Crescent-Shaped LED Bulbs
You can follow these steps to install crescent-shaped LED bulbs:
- Step 1: Remove the unused bulb.
- Step 2: Remove the lamp fixture cover, or replace it with a new fixture.
- Step 3: Remove the starter.
- Step 4: Remove the inductor and directly connect the output end to the input end of the inductor.
- Step 5: Install the crescent-shaped LED bulb.
