Beer foam is created from the activity of absorbing active substances on the surface of CO2. Beer foam is carbon dioxide foam in beer that appears in the form of floating on the surface of the beer, running along the beer glass, or existing as small spots clinging to the glass walls.

When pouring beer out of a bottle/can, beer foam always rises up quickly out of the glass, then slowly settles down and gradually dissipates but never completely disappears.

Is beer with foam or without foam better?

Beer foam is a very important part in determining the quality of beer. A glass of beer without foam indicates that it is a light, even bitter type of beer.

The foam on top of the beer dissolves, releasing a small amount of beer into the air, creating the aroma of the beer.

Many people think pouring beer is very simple, however, the right way to pour beer is when you pour beer with foam. If you pour beer the wrong way, which means you pour beer without foam, then the carbonic gas in the beer will not be released into the air and when you drink it, it will make you feel bloated, and you won’t be able to taste the delicious and aromatic flavor of the beer.

When you drink beer with foam, you will feel the sweet taste of malt and the bitterness of the beer, as well as maintain the beer flavor under the layer of foam.

Enjoying a delicious beer requires both foam and balanced beer.

Guide on how to pour beer without foam

The basic formula for a glass of beer is “Three parts foam, seven parts beer”. To get the desired result, you can follow the following steps:

Step 1: Tilt the beer glass at a 45-degree angle. Note: keep a distance between the beer bottle’s mouth and the glass rim.

Step 2: Pour beer slowly until it reaches the glass rim, you can observe that at this time there is no foam in the glass or only a few thin bubbles that are not significant.

Step 3: Next, you hold the glass upright, pour the remaining beer in the center of the glass. Then pour the beer slowly until the glass is full.

How much beer to drink per day is enough?

Beer is good for health if you drink an adequate and proper amount, but if you drink too much, your body will react negatively, even causing serious harm to your health.

According to studies, a healthy liver can filter about 300ml to 400ml of beer equivalent to about 1 can of beer per day. Therefore, the recommended dosage for men is not to drink more than 2 glasses of 330ml beer per day, and for women, not to drink more than 1 glass of 330ml beer per day and absolutely not to exceed 5 days/week. Absolutely do not drink too much beer at once because it will harm your health, so don’t forget to control your dosage to ensure safety.

After finishing a bottle of beer, the stomach is almost full, if you continue drinking, it will cause stomach distension or rupture, in severe cases, it can cause severe bleeding in the stomach and even lead to death.

In addition, with an increased frequency of urination, alcohol and beer addicts are prone to have low blood potassium cycle (manifested as overall weakness) and arrhythmia, so it is best to control the amount of beer to about 300ml per drink.

Moreover, when drinking beer, you should choose branded, reputable beers on the market, and avoid drinking unlabeled beers as they can easily cause beer poisoning.
