The solution requires minimal ingredients: one egg yolk and 25–40 grams of boric acid powder, available at veterinary pharmacies.

Mix the two ingredients until the mixture thickens. Shape it into small balls (about the size of a golf ball) and let them dry for an hour. Place these balls in hidden corners, shelves, cabinets, and areas where cockroaches frequent.
The results will surprise you. Cockroaches, attracted by the scent, will consume the bait. However, the boric acid will expand in their digestive system, leading to their demise.
Initially, it may seem like the cockroaches ignore the bait, but after three weeks, you’ll notice a significant daily reduction in their numbers.
Caution:
Boric acid is a weak acid but highly toxic when used in pesticides. Never ingest it, and store it securely, out of reach of children and pets.

Dry orange and lemon peels, place them in kitchen cabinets, or burn the dried peels. This not only leaves a pleasant aroma but also effectively repels cockroaches.
5. Alum
Dissolve alum in hot water, dip a cloth in the solution, and wipe the floors. Once dry, the crystallized alum will penetrate floor cracks, repelling both cockroaches and ants.
6. Bay Leaves
Crush bay leaves, mix with water, and wipe kitchen cabinets. This simple method ensures cockroaches disappear without a trace.
7. Soapy Water
Mix soap with water in a spray bottle. Spray directly on cockroaches or their nests for a non-toxic, effective solution.
