Ms. Dang Thu Phuong (born in 1980) is currently residing with her family in Hanoi. Her family’s house was recently completed 6 months ago. Ms. Phuong owns a dream kitchen that many housewives desire, with modern, convenient, and attractive furniture.
Sharing with PV Dan Tri, Phuong said: “Due to the epidemic, I have to temporarily stop working and stay at home to implement social distancing according to the city’s directive. Therefore, I have more time for cooking, so I just indulge in the kitchen all the time.”
How to clean kitchen cabinets
Phương’s kitchen is primarily designed with a white color scheme, so cleanliness is of utmost importance. Typically, every 10 days, Phương will clean it thoroughly.
I use a bowl of white vinegar mixed with about 2 to 3 liters of water, then use a soft cloth to wipe the surface and inside of the kitchen cabinet. This method makes the kitchen cabinet surface clean and removes stains, Ms. Phuong revealed.
How to Remove Stains from Kitchen Backsplash Stone Surface
Chị Phương’s kitchen countertop is also in a white color scheme to match the cabinets, making it prone to dirt and stains. However, she loves this color because the kitchen always looks bright and spacious, and it gives off a clean and neat vibe.
Phương shared, “The key to keeping the stone surface clean during daily cooking is to clean up as you go. Whenever I accidentally get turmeric, chili sauce, or stains on it, I usually use gel hand sanitizer and toothpaste to wipe them off. I also use this method frequently for stone sinks. You’ll be amazed at this little trick.”
How to clean kitchen windows
Chị Phương usually uses glass cleaner to clean the kitchen countertop surface. But instead of spraying the glass cleaner directly onto the surface, Chị Phương dilutes it with water and pours it into a separate bottle for spraying.
If I directly spray glass cleaner, it usually leaves streaks, making the kitchen glass surface not clear. Since I dilute it for use, the glass is always spotless.
I use this method to clean the windows in my house. If possible, you can buy a window squeegee, wipe with a soft cloth, and use the squeegee to remove the water. Ensure that the windows will be crystal clear in an instant. However, the area near the kitchen is often splattered with grease. After cooking, I usually use a soft cloth with a little dish soap to wipe it once to keep the kitchen clean of grease,” shared Mrs. Phuong.
Eliminate food odors in the kitchen with essential oils
In the well-equipped kitchen, Phuong has installed a full range of extractor fans. However, to ensure the kitchen always remains fresh and fragrant, Phuong also uses natural essential oils for aromatherapy.
Mrs. Phuong stated, “These days, due to the pandemic, people will often cook at home. So, everyone should consider having an essential oil diffuser and a high-quality natural essential oil to help keep their kitchen fresh, clean, and eliminate food smells in the kitchen.”
I hope the little tips that Mrs. Phuong shared will help your kitchen stay clean and tidy during regular cooking days at home.
