At the tender age of 16, Trung Dũng first met Cát Tường, who was dating his close friend. Later, the same friend played matchmaker for the pair, but they didn’t quite click romantically. Instead, they chose to remain friends and foster a sibling-like relationship.

In one video, Cát Tường revealed something unique about Trung Dũng. Noticing that he was eating alone, she inquired, to which he replied: “Waiting for Cát Tường to invite me to eat.” Cát Tường then disclosed: “Everyone, this is Trung Dũng, not Tiết Cương. Just by looking at his face, you can tell he’s got that ‘big shot’ vibe. And indeed he is!” She added: “Only Tiết Cương would always wait for me to arrive before paying the bill. But Trung Dũng is the ‘boss’ of Vĩnh Long. Anyone who asks around Mỹ Thuận Bridge knows who he is.”

Cát Tường’s lighthearted story led to Trung Dũng being labeled as a “big shot.” However, he is not one to flaunt his wealth or material possessions. His “big shot” status is attributed to his impressive acting career.
Born in 1973 in Vĩnh Long, Trung Dũng is a familiar face on screens, despite not coming from a family involved in the entertainment industry.

He once confided to the press that, for him, acting is an “art that requires both theoretical study and practical training,” which means continuously honing his skills and expressions to stay at the top of his game.
