Stainless steel kitchenware such as pots, pans, steamers, spoons, and ladles can become stained and greasy over time, proving difficult to clean. Many homemakers struggle to remove stubborn stains and grime from their beloved cookware.
Ms. Hoa Phuong (born in 1990, Hanoi) shared with VietNamNet readers a simple yet effective tip to clean her kitchenware. Ms. Phuong has successfully applied this method and shared it with many people. Everyone was satisfied with the results.
This quick and safe method completely removes stubborn stains and grease from all stainless steel items. With just three easily accessible ingredients – baking soda, dish soap, and white vinegar – Ms. Phuong created a powerful cleaning solution. Her kitchenware now sparkles like new.
First, gather all your stainless steel items that need cleaning. Use the largest pot or pan you have to create a homemade cleaning solution. Add 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda, half a bottle of vinegar, dish soap, and enough water to cover the other stainless steel items. Place all the stainless steel utensils into the large pot, ensuring they are fully submerged, and bring the solution to a boil.
“Boiling this mixture effectively cleans stainless steel items. Simply use a dishcloth to wipe and scrub the surfaces, and they will shine like new,” shared Ms. Phuong.
The stubborn stains will gradually flake off in the boiling solution. Remove the items, and gently scrub them to reveal sparkling clean cookware.
If any stubborn stains remain, mix a separate solution of vinegar, baking soda, and dish soap, and add some of the boiled solutions. Soak the items for about 5 minutes, then scrub and rinse. This will ensure that even the most stubborn stains are removed.
With this simple tip, Ms. Phuong hopes to provide homemakers with a handy trick to keep their kitchenware looking brand new.
