2. How is the salary calculated for working on April 30th and May 1st, 2024?

According to the provisions of Articles 98 and 112 of the 2019 Labor Code, when working on April 30th and May 1st, in addition to the holiday pay, employees will also receive overtime pay.

Overtime pay for working on the April 30th and May 1st holidays according to Article 98 of the Labor Code is as follows:

  • Daytime overtime pay = 300% x regular daily wage
  • Nighttime overtime pay = 390% x regular daily wage

Therefore, including the holiday pay, employees who work on April 30th and May 1st will receive the following wages:

  • Working during the day: At least 400% of the regular wage
  • Working at night: At least 490% of the regular wage
