Ta Xua in Bac Yen, Son La Province, is an ideal tourist destination for those looking to escape the heat and find peace.
Even in the summer, the temperature here remains cool, ranging from 16-24 degrees Celsius. The mornings and nights are chilly, and during the day, after sudden showers, clouds linger, floating over the valley, creating a poetic scene.
One of the most impressive points in Ta Xua is the grassland, with its pristine nature and cool climate. Netizens have likened it to a “mini Switzerland.” This grassland is located in Ban Tro A, Ta Xua commune, about 12km from the commune’s center.

Quỳnh Lập Beach, Nghe An
Located about 230km from Hanoi, a 3.5-hour drive away, Quynh Lap Beach offers a 12km-long coastline with a picturesque, pristine beauty and uniquely shaped rocks.
The sea here is crystal clear in the summer, with calm waves and fine golden sand that has been compared to Nha Trang’s beaches. The beach is lined with tall casuarina trees, rolling mountains, and few shops, making it a quiet and uncrowded destination.

Quynh Lap is also famous for its fresh seafood, especially squid and dried squid. The squid is freshly caught and carefully selected by fishermen, who dry the larger, meatier ones.
With more time in Nghe An, visitors can explore the Quynh beaches – a chain of seven beaches from Quynh Lap to Tien Thuy communes, including Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lien, Quynh Bang, Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh, Quynh Nghia, and Tien Thuy.
Quan Lan Island, Quang Ninh
Located in Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province, Quan Lan Island is nestled within the breathtaking Bai Tu Long Bay. It attracts visitors with its pristine beauty, clear blue waters, and long stretches of white sandy beaches.
Nicknamed the “green gem of the bay” in Northern Vietnam, Quan Lan Island is sheltered within the bay, resulting in calmer seas and faster travel times, reducing concerns about seasickness.

Pù Luông, Thanh Hóa
Pù Luông, located about a 4.5-hour drive from Hanoi, is a popular summer getaway known for its cool climate and pristine nature. It is accessible by motorbike, private car, or bus.
During the summer months, visitors can also witness the water season and hunt for clouds.
Hiêu Waterfall is located within the Pù Luông Nature Reserve, bordering Hoa Binh Province. The waterfall, about 100 meters high, is formed by the Hiêu stream flowing through the Pù Luông limestone mountains.
Surrounding the waterfall are towering cliffs covered in moss, creating a wild and impressive yet serene atmosphere. At the base of the waterfall is a natural pool with a depth of just over one meter, offering a refreshing swimming spot for visitors who can also admire the majestic surroundings.
