Life is not always easy. There will be times when we encounter unexpected problems, such as household items breaking down and being unable to call someone for repairs. However, with the widely shared tips on the internet, they will help you overcome these difficulties more easily and comfortably.
One of the most frustrating and panicked situations is a clogged toilet. Typically, a toilet gets clogged or blocked by the amount of toilet paper thrown into it. Many people still believe that paper will dissolve when it comes into contact with water, so they casually throw it into the toilet. However, there have been many cases where the toilet was clogged by the seemingly fragile toilet paper.

When faced with this situation, many people immediately think of using a plunger if they don’t want the water to flood the entire bathroom. However, unfortunately, we don’t always have this tool in the house. So what should we do?
Very simple, just remember the food wrap. Are you still surprised and think this is a joke? In fact, the food wrap will have a great effect every time the toilet is clogged with toilet paper.
All you need to do is open the toilet lid, lift up the seat, and then wipe the area around the toilet bowl clean and dry. Note that it must be clean and dry so that the food wrap can adhere tightly to the toilet bowl. Then, wrap the food wrap from left to right of the toilet bowl as shown below. You can wrap from 3 to 4 layers and must wrap tightly, the tighter, the better.

Next, flush the toilet. At this point, use your hand to press down the inflated part of the food wrap (that’s why we mentioned to wipe the toilet bowl dry, wrap the food wrap tightly). After pressing it down, if you still see the toilet clogged and the wrap is still inflated, continue to press until the paper is completely gone, and the toilet is unclogged.

This method works similarly to the way a plunger works, as you’ve seen. Therefore, you can rest assured about safety and effectiveness, as long as you follow these 3 things:
– Wipe the toilet bowl clean and dry.
– Use thick, good quality cling film with strong adhesion.
– Stick the cling film tightly to the toilet bowl, about 3 layers.
Wish you success.
