Distilled water, ice cubes, deep-bottomed pot with a domed lid, small bowl (ramekin), small glass bottles. Sterilize all equipment thoroughly.

Steps for Making Rose Water

Step 1: Detach the rose petals and rinse them with water. Subsequently, transfer all the clean rose petals into the deep pot.

Step 2: Position the ramekin in the center of the pot, then add water to the pot until it reaches about 1cm below the rim of the ramekin.

Step 3: Invert the lid over the pot so that the knob of the lid is directly above the ramekin. Turn the heat to high and monitor until boiling, then reduce heat to low to prevent spills.

Step 4: As soon as boiling commences, place ice cubes on the lid of the pot, replacing them as they melt. Maintain the ice on the pot lid for approximately 30 minutes.

Step 5: When the petals have noticeably lightened in color, turn off the heat and remove the lid, allowing the water to cool.
