Begin by soaking 100g of sticky rice in water for approximately 3-4 hours. Afterward, remember to rinse and drain the rice.
Clean the mango, carefully peel it, and cut it into small, bite-sized cubes. Don’t discard the mango seed, as we will use it while cooking the rice!

Step 2 Cook the Rice
In a pot, combine 600ml of filtered water with the mango seed and bring it to a boil. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove the seed and add the pre-soaked sticky rice. Give it a good stir and cook for around 35-40 minutes until the rice is tender and fully cooked.

Step 3 Assemble the Dessert
Once the rice is cooked to your liking, add 100g of sugar and stir well until dissolved. If the dessert appears too dry, feel free to add a splash of water. Then, add the diced mango and cook for an additional 3 minutes before turning off the heat.
