Pomegranates
Begin by trimming a small portion off the top. Then, using a sharp knife, carefully score the pomegranate along the ridges, being mindful not to cut too deeply into the fruit. Gently pull the pomegranate apart along the scored lines, and you can either use your fingers to remove the seeds or tap the outer shell with a wooden spoon to dislodge them.
Kiwis
Start by trimming both ends of the kiwi. Then, using a spoon, carefully scoop out the flesh, keeping it intact. Alternatively, if you plan to eat it right away, simply cut the kiwi in half and use a spoon to scoop out the flesh.
Pineapple
Using a sharp knife, trim both ends of the pineapple and cut away the outer layer, making sure to cut about 1 cm deep to easily remove the eyes. Then, simply slice the pineapple lengthwise into long pieces, remove the core, and cut into bite-sized chunks.
Oranges
You can easily segment an orange by trimming the ends, scoring a line down the side, and then peeling it open. The orange slices will effortlessly come apart.
Strawberries
Instead of wasting fruit by cutting off the strawberry stems, try using a straw! Insert the straw from the bottom up, and the stem will pop right off.
Mangosteen
To easily peel a mangosteen, press your thumb into the bottom of the fruit to create a small indent. Then, squeeze the sides of the fruit, and the shell will effortlessly split open.
Mangoes
Cut along the sides of the mango to remove the cheeks, then slide the pieces down onto the edge of a glass, smoothly separating the flesh from the skin. Alternatively, if you want to eat it right away, you can make small square incisions on the mango cheek and push the skin up from the bottom using your fingers. Please note that this method only works with ripe mangoes.
Avocados
Cut the avocado in half lengthwise, press the blade of your knife into the pit, and twist to remove it. Then, use a spoon to scoop out the avocado flesh, or cut the avocado into quarters, carefully peel the skin, and separate the fruit from the pit.
