The length of the Tet holiday varies for each university, depending on their progress and situation. Keep up with this article to stay informed about the Tet holiday schedules of universities across the country.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi)

Students will have 14 days off, from February 8th, 2021 (the 27th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month).

University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi)

Students are off for Tet from February 4th, 2021 (the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month), a total of 18 days.

Hanoi University of Science (Vietnam National University, Hanoi)

Students will enjoy 14 days of Tet holiday, from February 8th, 2021 (27th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th day of the first lunar month).

Saigon University of Technology

Students will be off for 3 weeks for the Lunar New Year holiday, from February 1st to February 21st, 2021.

Foreign Trade University

The university will be closed from February 1st, 2021 (20th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month).

University of Information Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City)

Students will be off for Tet from February 1st, 2021 (the 20th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month). Including weekends, the total number of days off is 22.

Gia Định University

All students will have a 3-week Tet holiday, from February 1st to February 21st, 2021 (from the 20th of the twelfth lunar month to the 10th of the first lunar month).

University of Law (Hue University)

Tet holiday will last from February 1st to February 21st, 2021.

University of Commerce

The university will be closed from Thursday, February 4th, 2021 (23rd of the twelfth lunar month) to February 19th, 2021 (the 8th of the first lunar month).

Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking

Regular undergraduate and inter-level university students, as well as trainees, will have a Tet holiday from February 1st to February 21st, 2021 (excluding classes with exam schedules).

Van Hien University

All students will enjoy a 3-week holiday, from February 1st to February 21st, 2021.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi

Students are expected to have 14 days off for Tet, from February 8th to February 21st, 2021.

Trade Union University

All students will be off for Tet from February 6th, 2021 (the 25th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month). The total number of days off is 16.

Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology

Students of the 2017 intake (Engineering majors), 2018, and 2019 will have a Tet holiday from February 1st to February 21st, 2021. As for the 2017 intake (Economics and Multimedia Communication majors), and 2020 intake, the holiday will be from February 8th to February 21st, 2021.

University of Economics (Da Nang University)

The expected Tet holiday will begin on February 7th, 2021 (the 26th of the twelfth lunar month) and end on February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month).

Duy Tan University

All students and trainees will have a Tet holiday from February 5th (the 24th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st (the 10th of the first lunar month).

University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi)

Students and trainees will have 14 consecutive days off for Tet, from February 8th to February 21st, 2021.

Academy of Journalism and Propaganda

All students will be off for the Lunar New Year holiday from February 1st to February 21st, 2021.

FPT University

Students and trainees will have a Tet holiday from Monday, February 8th, 2021, to Saturday, February 20th, 2021 (from the 27th of the twelfth lunar month to the 9th of the first lunar month).

University of Labor and Social Affairs

All students will have 12 days off, from February 6th to February 17th, 2021.

University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi)

Students will have a 17-day Tet holiday from February 5th to February 21st, 2021.

Phenikaa University

According to the official announcement, students will have 16 days off, from February 6th to February 21st, 2021 (from the 25th of the twelfth lunar month to the 10th of the first lunar month).

University of Mining and Geology

All students will have 22 days off for the Lunar New Year holiday from January 31st to February 21st, 2021.

Hanoi University of Business and Technology

The university will be closed for 22 days during the Lunar New Year holiday, from January 31st, 2021 (the 19th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month).

Vinh University

Faculty members, students, and trainees of the university’s departments and institutes will have a Tet holiday following the 2020-2021 academic year plan: from Monday, February 8th, 2021, to Sunday, February 21st, 2021 (from the 27th of the twelfth lunar month to the 10th of the first lunar month).

Judicial Academy

Following the direction of the Academy’s Board of Directors, regular undergraduate classes and vocational classes will be off from February 1st to February 28th, 2021 (from the 20th of the twelfth lunar month to the 17th of the first lunar month). Thus, the Judicial Academy will have a 28-day Tet holiday.

Hanoi University of Law

According to the announcement, students and trainees will have a Tet holiday in 2021 from February 1st, 2021 (the 20th of the twelfth lunar month, 2020) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month, 2021). Therefore, Hanoi University of Law will have a 21-day Tet holiday.

Academy of Finance

The academy’s leaders have decided that students and trainees will have a Tet holiday in 2021 from February 1st, 2021 (the 20th of the twelfth lunar month, 2020) to February 20th, 2021 (the 9th of the first lunar month, 2021).

National Economics University

The university has announced that students will have an 18-day Tet holiday, from February 4th to February 21st, 2021.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi

The university has announced that students will have a 14-day Tet holiday, from February 8th, 2021 (the 27th of the twelfth lunar month, 2020) to February 21st, 2021 (the 10th of the first lunar month, 2021).
