Turmeric Face Wash
Mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons of whole wheat flour, and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Take a small amount of this powder in your palm and add water to activate it and form a paste. Massage this mixture onto your face and body, then rinse.
Whole Wheat Flour
Add a little milk, rose water, or aloe vera gel to whole wheat flour to form a paste. Apply this mixture to your face and let it sit for 5-10 minutes or until completely dry. Rub it off with dry fingers.
Orange Peel Powder
Orange peel powder not only helps cleanse the skin but also has anti-tan and skin brightening properties. Add a little rose water to orange peel powder to form a paste. Massage it with wet fingers and rinse.
Clay
Use soap-free kaolin clay or your favorite clay for a facial wash. Just add a few drops of regular water or rose water to your chosen clay and massage it onto your face. Rinse and pat dry.
Honey Aloe
This is one of my favorite soap-free face wash formulas. Mix a little aloe vera gel with honey and use this mixture to massage your face. Rinse and pat your skin dry.
Rice Powder
Add a little rose water to rice powder or rice flour to form a paste. Apply this to your face and let it dry completely. Massage for a while and then rinse.
Aloe Vera Gel
Rub fresh aloe vera leaf directly on your face or extract the gel and store it as ice cubes. Rub this cube on your face and massage any remaining product into your skin. Rinse and pat dry.
Licorice Root Powder
Licorice root powder is a great exfoliator and skin brightener. Just add a few drops of rose water to rice powder in the palm of your hand to form a paste. Apply this mixture to your face and massage for a few minutes. Rinse and pat dry.
Honey
Simply apply honey to your face and neck and massage for a few minutes. Rinse and pat dry. If you have acne-prone skin, you can add a few drops of peppermint or tea tree essential oil before use.
Milk
Simply soak a cotton ball in low-fat milk and wipe it all over your face. Rinse your face with water and pat dry.
