A business tax code, or a company tax code, is issued by the Tax Administration Authority to each enterprise upon successful tax registration. This code is also unique and non-duplicable among businesses. It facilitates state tax management and simplifies business revenue declaration.

2Six Ways to Look Up Tax Codes

Look Up on the e-Tax Website

Step 1 Access the e-Tax website at the following link: https://thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn/

Step 2 On the homepage, select the “Individual” option.

Step 3 On the next page, select “Look Up Taxpayer Information.”

Step 4 Enter your ID card number and the verification code, leave the tax code field blank, and click “Look Up.” The search results will be displayed below.

Look Up on the Vietnam Tax Website

Step 1 Go to the Vietnam Tax website at the following address: http://tracuunnt.gdt.gov.vn/tcnnt/mstcn.jsp. The homepage will look like the image below.

Step 2 Enter your ID card number in the “ID Card/Identity Card” field and enter the verification code.

Step 3 Click on the “Look Up” button. The results will be displayed below.

Step 1 Visit the Tax Code website at https://masothue.vn/ and select “Look Up Personal Tax Code.”

Step 2 Enter your ID card number in the “ID Card” field.

Step 1 Go to the tax code lookup link: https://www.messenger.com/t/masothue.vn, or search for the keyword “Tax Code.”

Step 2 Here, select “Message” and enter your ID card or identity card number in the message box. Send the message to look up your personal or company tax code.

Step 3 You will receive additional information such as the tax code, representative, address, operating time, managing unit, and tax status.

Step 3 Enter your ID card number and the captcha code. Then, click “Look Up.”

Step 4 Finally, the app will return the following information: full name, tax code, address, representative, operating date, managing unit, and operating status.
