Vietnamese actress Phuong Oanh recently opened up about her post-pregnancy weight loss journey. She admitted that she had initially been worried about regaining her figure, sharing, “I used to think that my stomach would go back to how it was before pregnancy, but it turned out that ‘life is not a dream.’ There were many times when I wanted to sink into depression,” the actress revealed.
Along with her honest confession, Phuong Oanh also shared a photo of her figure 15 days after giving birth. In the image, the wife of Shark Binh is seen with a still-rounded midsection. She attributed her eventual success in regaining her figure to a combination of scientific methods, light exercise, and, most notably, belly wrapping and heat compresses.
Heat therapy, or thermotherapy, involves applying heat to a specific area of the body, causing blood vessels to dilate. This improved blood flow brings about several important benefits. It not only reduces muscle and tendon pain but also speeds up the healing process by enhancing nutrient delivery to the area, aiding in cell regeneration and tissue repair.
Additionally, this method helps relax tense muscles, reducing pressure and stress in the body. While heat therapy doesn’t instantly reduce abdominal fat, it does have some indirect effects. The heat increases skin temperature, inducing sweating, which helps eliminate toxins and waste through the skin. Moreover, improved blood circulation and flow from heat therapy can also assist in removing excess fat from the body.
While heat therapy is effective, it shouldn’t be solely relied upon. It should be combined with a healthy diet and appropriate abdominal fat-reducing exercises or advanced technology-based weight loss services. You can try heat therapy with hot salt to reduce lower belly fat: Heat some salt and place it in a fabric heat pack. Lie face down, place a clean towel over the pack, and press your stomach against it for about 20-30 minutes after eating.
For an even more effective treatment, combine it with ginger. Soak ginger in alcohol for a week, then heat it up and put it in a bag to apply to your stomach.
