Roller Curls
This method can be easily done at home and helps reduce heat damage to your hair. All you need is a set of hair rollers and hairspray.
Simply roll damp hair sections onto the rollers, ensuring they are wrapped inward. Leave for a few hours until your hair is completely dry, then remove the rollers and gently separate the curls with your fingers. Apply hairspray to hold the curls in place.
Headband Curls
Simply put on a headband and wrap small sections of your hair around it, starting from the left side and then moving to the right. If your hair dries during the process, spritz it with water to dampen it again. For tighter curls, wrap the hair tightly around the headband, and for looser waves, wrap it more loosely. Let your hair air dry or leave it in overnight, then gently remove the headband.
Twisted Bun
The twisted bun method works for all hair types. Simply divide damp hair into two equal sections and twist them into circles. Then, coil each section into a bun and secure it with a hair tie. Once your hair is completely dry, undo the buns and gently separate the twists with your fingers. You can apply a hair serum for a smoother and shinier finish.
Towel Curls
When your hair is slightly damp, divide it into two sections. Then, wrap a towel around each section, starting from the ends and working your way up. Secure the ends with hair ties and twist the towels into spirals. Repeat this process on the other side. You can either blow-dry your hair on a cool setting or leave it overnight. Once your hair is completely dry, remove the towels and gently scrunch your hair with your fingers.
Fishbone Braids
Apply a small amount of moisturizing gel to damp hair. Then, create two tight fishtail braids on each side of your head. Make sure to braid all the way down to the ends to achieve well-defined curls. This method not only creates beautiful waves but also helps hold the curls for a longer period.
