Children playing and enjoying themselves at an outdoor event

This year, in celebration of International Children’s Day (June 1st) and International Play Day (June 11th), the Phu My Hung Children’s Festival, themed ‘Summer Festival – Play to Learn’, will offer a diverse range of games and activities to engage children in a fun and educational way.

Children participating in outdoor activities and games

The festival grounds will be designed as a treasure hunt map, offering a sense of adventure and exploration, allowing children to freely experience a variety of games and activities. Specifically, the Summer Festival – Play to Learn will feature the following areas:

– Area A will focus on sports and outdoor skills, where children can enjoy physical activities and practice camping skills such as tent pitching and knot-tying.

– Area B will showcase artistic and creative activities. Using eco-friendly materials such as paper, fabric, stones, and wood, children and their families can create unique art pieces that reflect their imaginations.

– Area C will be a stage for opening ceremonies and interesting talks with experts, providing valuable knowledge for both children and parents.

– Area D will host a balance bike race for preschoolers, encouraging them to challenge themselves and receive supportive guidance and cheers from their parents.

The treasure after this experiential journey is a bounty of attractive prizes from sponsors. Upon completing each game in the different areas, children will receive marks on their ‘experience map’. The more games they participate in, the greater their chances of winning exciting prizes such as backpacks, stationery, candies, toys, and stuffed animals.

Children engaging in creative and sustainable playground designs

In addition to the fun and games for children and their families, the Summer Festival – Play to Learn will also feature an exhibition titled ‘Designing Playgrounds for Children with a Focus on Sustainable Development’, showcasing unique and creative ideas from participating teams.
