Yagi is recognized as the strongest storm in 30 years, not only sweeping away the possessions of many families and devastating structures in its path, but the subsequent flooding also caused immense damage to the people of the northern provinces. In the past few days, hundreds of thousands of households have been facing immense difficulties, lacking essential goods.

Embodying the spirit of mutual support and disaster relief, Vinamilk is providing over 550,000 essential nutritional products such as fresh milk, plant-based milk, condensed milk, and beverages to the affected people and children in the storm and flood-hit areas during this phase. The shipments are being promptly delivered to the people in 10 affected provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Cao Bang, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, and Ninh Binh.

Vinamilk employees urgently prepare and load fresh milk and beverages onto trucks to be delivered to people and children in the storm and flood-affected areas.

On September 11, Vinamilk presented 1 billion VND worth of nutritional products to the people of Thai Nguyen and Yen Bai, the most severely affected provinces, through the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee. This batch of products will support people in flooded areas who lack food and drinks, with a priority given to children and juveniles in need of milk and nutrition.

In many localities, people have been living in flooded conditions and facing shortages for many days. Vinamilk’s support is very timely in this phase. I believe that with the solidarity and joint efforts of the community, we will overcome these difficulties and soon stabilize our lives.”

In addition to supporting the affected people and children, Vinamilk will also provide a portion of milk and beverages to functional units and local authorities engaged in rescue and relief work and post-disaster recovery.
