Van Trang, a passionate lover of plants and nature, has transformed her villa’s grounds into a lush, green oasis with the help of her loved ones. In a recent share, the actress revealed the fruits of her labor in her vibrant garden while also confessing a fear she faces while tending to her plants: “Am I the only one who chants ‘No bugs, no bugs, no bugs at all’ while gardening?”

While Van Trang carefully prunes her plants, her husband, Huu Quan, teases her about misplacing his scissors: “Here’s the culprit who stole Dad’s scissors! Put them back where they belong, pronto!”

Many can relate to the actress’s fear of bugs, with some commenting that they enjoy gardening but are terrified of insects, especially the sight of worms. Friends compliment Van Trang on her green thumb, as her plants thrive under her care.

The mother of four shares her journey: “In October 2023, my three staff members and I planted trees all over the house. We were nervous, hoping we were doing it right, especially since we were planting in raised beds. Watering? Drainage? Care instructions?”

“A year later, I’m delighted to see that our trees are thriving and growing lushly. Of course, there’s the occasional bug encounter, but overall, I’m so happy with how our garden is doing,” she confesses.

The wife of businessman Huu Quan has become quite the amateur horticulturist, learning about plant care, disease diagnosis, and treatment.

Recently, she shared: “This morning, instead of admiring little Tin, I found myself inspecting our plants, diagnosing diseases, and preparing treatments after a rainy season that left our plants vulnerable to various ailments.”

Van Trang has a particular fondness for Monstera plants and has surrounded her home with them. She shares: “When I first started planting Monstera, I knew they thrived in cooler temperatures, so I planted one on the rooftop terrace to enjoy in the evenings.”

She humorously recounts her early days of caring for Monstera: “I bought one for 800,000 VND, but then I had to get a sunshade for 350,000 VND and a bigger pot for 1,800,000 VND. I guess I’m a bit of a plant enthusiast!”

In the past, when a leaf would burn, she’d feel sad and regretful: “I’d cut it off with scissors, my eyes welling up with tears, and I’d spend the whole day blaming myself for forgetting to put the sunshade back after an evening get-together, which caused the leaf to burn.”

Now, she’s more pragmatic: “I just cut, arrange, and admire! It’s so satisfying,” she exclaims.
