After 12 years of hard work in the fashion industry, Ms. Nhu Quynh (33 years old, a fashion shop owner in Can Tho city) and her husband have finally saved up enough to build their dream home for their two sons.

It has been a long journey for Ms. Quynh and her husband to build their dream home. With careful financial planning and savings, they were able to turn their vision into reality.
“I’ve been running my fashion business for 12 years now, and my husband and I have been diligent in saving, budgeting, and planning our expenses to achieve our goals,” shared Ms. Quynh.
The young mother of two shared that they have just moved into their new home a little over a month ago. It took ten months to build the house, starting in December 2023 and completing in October 2024. Their cozy home has a total construction area of 80 square meters and a usable area of 245.9 square meters.

“My husband and I spent several months before the construction discussing and planning our dream home. He gave me full decision-making power over the design, ideas, functionality, and interior. This made it easier for us to work with the design and construction teams. Luckily, I found a design company that understood our vision, and I am thrilled with how our home turned out,” Ms. Quynh confided.

Like many others, Ms. Quynh and her husband faced some challenges during the home-building process. However, these difficulties were understandable and expected. Ms. Quynh shared, “To be honest, we encountered a few problems during the construction process, but in the end, we were able to overcome them and create our dream home. Building a house is a long and arduous journey that requires the hard work and dedication of many people, including ourselves.”
“The initial phase of constructing the foundation and framework went smoothly and quickly. However, we faced more challenges during the finishing stage. As a perfectionist, I wanted everything to be just right, so selecting the finishing materials and furniture took a significant amount of time. Each detail and piece of furniture in the house was carefully considered and chosen, which prolonged the completion time. I wanted every corner of the house to reflect my style and personality, so finding the right pieces became an essential part of our journey.”
The kitchen area is neat and tidy, and it is Ms. Quynh’s favorite place in her new home.
When asked about her favorite space in the house, Ms. Quynh proudly shared, “I am most proud of my kitchen because it is the coziest place in our home. It is where my family gathers every day to share meals and spend quality time together. It is also the place where I feel the most at peace and where I pour my heart out.”
The worship area is simple yet spacious and serene.

“We have been living in our new home for almost two months now, and I am delighted and grateful that all our hard work has paid off. I feel fortunate and thankful to have found such dedicated partners who helped me bring my dream home to life,” Ms. Quynh expressed.
