The most prominent feature is the “television museum,” displaying more than 100 vintage television devices collected by the owner. These artifacts include film cameras, TVs, VCRs, and editing tables from the 1970s to 1990s, offering an intriguing glimpse into the development of television through different periods.

With the combination of romantic colors, nostalgic spaces, and unique experiential activities, the Purple House has become an ideal destination for visitors to Can Tho. Ticket prices range from 60,000 VND per adult and 30,000 VND for children under 10 years old, while children under 4 years old can enter for free.

The Over-a-Century-Old House

Binh Thuy Ancient House is a popular tourist attraction in Can Tho, attracting visitors with its ancient and romantic charm. This ancient house was built in 1870 by the Duong family. The house features five compartments and two lean-tos, and from the outside, you will notice four arched staircases connecting the yard to the main house, along with a system of windows that ensure good ventilation. More than 150 years have passed, but the architecture remains intact, and the antiques are carefully preserved.

The house combines French colonial architecture with traditional Southern styles. The spacious front yard features intricate floral patterns. Passing through the artistically curved iron gate, visitors will find themselves in a peaceful green space with various precious plants, especially a 40-year-old cactus from Mexico.
