Operating Principle
The refrigerator with automatic ice making technology utilizes a water container with a power-assist pump. When water is poured into the container, the pump will transfer it to the automatic ice making compartment. To obtain ice, simply press the ice symbol button on the control panel. The refrigerator is capable of producing both large-sized ice cubes and crushed ice to cater to different user preferences.
How to Make Ice Automatically
Step 1: Fill the ice compartment with water according to its capacity.
Step 2: Wait for the automatic ice maker to produce ice. Then, retrieve the ice for use.
Notes When Using the Automatic Ice Making Function
- It takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to make one ice tray.
- After creating one ice tray, the sensor will tilt back to pour the ice into the tray and continue to pump water for ongoing ice production.
- If the ice cubes stick together from prolonged non-use, separate them manually and remove any large ice cubes inside the ice making compartment.
- This feature is exclusively available in high-end Side By Side refrigerators.
