Applying make-up skillfully requires practice over time. The following make-up tips will help you achieve easy and perfect application.
1. Lipstick Application
To achieve sharp and neat lipstick application, draw an X shape on the upper lip and extend it to the corners of the mouth. Then, use a curved line to cover the lower lip. Apply the lipstick along the drawn frame to enhance the attractiveness of your lips.
2. Eyeshadow Application
Prior to applying eyeshadow, make sure to use a primer to make the eyeshadow last longer. Use an eyeshadow brush to evenly apply the eyeshadow on your eyelids. To give your eyes a lively and impressive look, apply a bit of bright eyeshadow on the corners of your eyes.
3. Cat Eye Eyeliner
Take your time and draw the eyeliner slowly and carefully, avoiding rushing. Draw small strokes one by one until the eyeliner is complete. When applying eyeliner, slightly raise your head, point your chin towards the mirror, and look down to start drawing. Also, choose an eyeliner color that is suitable for your skin tone instead of always using black.
4. Mascara Application
To avoid clumps, make sure to wipe off any excess mascara from your lashes. Waterproof mascara should not be used excessively as it contains more harmful substances compared to regular mascara, although it lasts longer.
5. Powder Application
Always use a large brush to evenly apply powder to your face. Use powder when necessary and avoid overusing it, as excess powder can emphasize wrinkles and imperfections on your face.
6. Concealer Use
For each area of your skin, use a specific type of concealer. Use a concealer with a pinkish tone for the area around the eyes and a greenish tone for red areas. Match your skin tone with a concealer for other normal areas. Avoid using too much concealer at once and apply it in thin layers. Wait for each layer to dry before applying another thin layer on top.
7. Eyebrow Shaping
Aim for natural-looking eyebrows and avoid creating an artificial appearance. If your eyebrows are sparse, you can use eyeshadow and an angled brush to fill them in.
8. Foundation Application
The jawline is a suitable area to test if the tone of the foundation matches your skin tone or not. If you need to make the foundation brighter, use a makeup sponge or mix it with light-colored powder, moisturizer, or primer.
