About the Quizizz application

Before learning how to create Quizizz, let’s take a look at some basic information about the Quizizz application. This is a mobile app designed for online learning, helping teachers and students participate in fun games based on pre-made questions and answers. Compared to traditional teaching methods, doing quizzes and tests on Quizizz creates a more fun experience.

How to create a Quizizz account

In order to use the Quizizz app to create exercises and tests, users need to register for a Quizizz account. This will give them access to the full range of features on the platform.

On a computer

To create a Quizizz account on a computer, follow these steps on the website:

Step 1: Access this link > Click on the Free Sign Up button.

Step 2: The system allows users to create accounts through Google Accounts, Email, or Facebook. Choose the appropriate registration method.

In this example, select Continue with Google.

Step 3: If your computer is logged into multiple Google accounts, choose the account you want to use for registration. 

Then select Continue to confirm.

Step 4: Switch to the next interface, where you can choose the purpose of using Quizizz by clicking on one of the three options as shown below.

• School: For teachers, administrators, and students.
• Work: For Organizations and Experts.
• Personal Use: Explore the product for personal use.

Step 5: If you choose School, then you will continue to choose the target as: Student, Teacher or Administrator.

After completing the registration, the system will redirect to the main interface of Quizizz and you can start using it.

On a mobile device

Creating a Quizizz account on a mobile device is not too complicated. You can do it as follows:

Step 1: When using a mobile device, you can access Quizizz via the Quizizz website or download the Quizizz app to your device.

The Quizizz app is available on the CH Play and App Store app stores. If you want to download it, simply enter the app name in the search bar and then press Get/Install.

Step 2: Choose Login and then select one of the three options: login with Google, Email, or Facebook.

Step 3: Next, also select the purpose as either School, Work, or Personal Use similar to when you do it on a computer.

Step 4: After that, you also enter the required name to complete the Quizizz account registration.

How to create Quizizz to design exercises and tests

After successfully registering an account on the Quizizz platform, you can start using it to create exercises and interesting tests for your students. The process of creating Quizizz is as follows:

Step 1: Use the account you just created to log in to Quizizz > Select Create New.

Step 2: Choose the Quiz category > Name your activity and select relevant topics > Click Next.

Step 3: Choose the type of question you want to use, such as Multiple choice, Reorder, Matching, Fill in the blanks,…

Step 4: Next, switch to the interface for entering the question content and answers. After entering the content, mark the correct answer and click Save Question.

Note that at this step, you can customize the font, font size, font color,… as desired. At the bottom of the screen, you can set a time limit for students to answer. For multiple-choice questions, you can choose to set more than 1 answer for each question.

Step 5: You will review all the questions at once to check. If there are no errors, select Publish.

Step 6: You can use the exercise for in-class learning by clicking on Start Direct Quiz and then choosing the Regular mode. In this mode, participants will answer at their own pace, competing individually.

If you want to use it for homework, select Assign Homework.

After that, a game code will be displayed. You just need to send this code to students for them to enter and participate in answering.

Guide on how to create a class on Quizizz

Not only used for creating exercises and tests, but users can also create classes right on Quizizz. You can do it as follows:

Step 1: Access Quizizz and log in to your account. Then, select the Classes section on the main interface of the website.

Step 2: Enter the name of the class you want to create and click Create Class.

Step 3: Copy the link displayed on the screen and send it to the students. When they click on this link, they will be able to join the class. 

Guide on how to take a quiz on Quizizz

Students can participate in quizzes on Quizizz via the mobile app or website.

Step 1: Access Quizizz and select Join Game.

Step 2: Enter the class code or quiz code, assignment code,… sent by the teacher into the Enter Game Code field and click JOIN.
