Deep Cleanse Your Skin
Cleansing is one of the skincare habits to remove dirt, oil, sweat, and other impurities from the skin. However, it’s important not to overdo it. Using excessively hot water can cause the skin to become dry, red, and even cracked afterwards. In particular, using a washcloth instead of harsh scrubbing tools can prevent skin damage.
If you work in a dusty environment, cold water alone may not effectively clean your body. Using a body wash can help remove dirt from the skin.
Choose a body wash with a moderate pH level, not too high or too low.
Exfoliate Your Entire Body
Removing dead cells and accumulated oils that clog pores can help improve skin brightness and evenness, as well as prevent back acne and other skin issues. Proper exfoliation of the entire body can achieve these results.
You can opt for chemical exfoliation using products that contain AHA or BHA, or stimulate new cell growth to achieve bright, smooth, and healthy skin from within.
Depending on your skin type, exfoliating 1-2 times a week is recommended. For dry and sensitive skin, it is recommended to exfoliate once a week to avoid irritation.
Full-Body Mask Treatment
Many girls may not know or overlook this step. Using a body mask allows nutrients to penetrate deeply into the skin. Experts recommend using a body mask immediately after exfoliation. This is because the dead skin cells have been removed and the nutrients can be absorbed more effectively.
Use Body Lotion for Overall Skin Care
There are various types of body lotions for different skin care purposes. When choosing, prioritize products with reliable sources and gentle, safe ingredients. For very dry skin, you can choose body lotions with thicker consistency to provide extra moisture for the skin.
Apply Sunscreen to Your Whole Body
It is important to use sunscreen, especially on areas exposed to sunlight such as the neck, chest, arms, and legs.
Choose a body sunscreen with an SPF index of 30 or higher and ensure broad-spectrum protection. Apply sunscreen to the skin about 15-20 minutes before going outside to allow it to fully absorb into the skin and avoid staining clothes.
