Skin Care
Eggs are a rich source of protein, magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, and vitamins A, E, D, and B. These nutrients help nourish and strengthen the skin, promoting a healthy, radiant complexion. The amino acids found in egg yolks, such as tryptophan, methionine, cysteine, and arginine, contribute to firm and supple skin.
Vitamin A, E, and B in eggs are excellent moisturizers. Soft and well-hydrated skin better absorbs nutrients during skincare routines, enhancing the effectiveness of your products.
Beauty Mask with Eggs
Blend one ripe banana with one egg until smooth. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
Alternatively, whisk an egg yolk with a teaspoon of olive oil. After cleansing your face, apply the mixture to your skin and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and continue with your regular skincare routine.
Hair Care
Combat Dry Hair with Eggs + Honey: Separate one egg yolk and mix it with a teaspoon each of honey, almond oil, and yogurt. Shampoo your hair, then apply the mixture from root to tip. Gently massage for 5-7 minutes. Cover your hair and leave the mixture on for 30 minutes. Shampoo again with warm water.
Treat Dandruff with Eggs + Beer: Whisk two egg whites until frothy, then mix with 50ml of fresh beer. Wet your hair and apply the mixture. Massage gently for 5-7 minutes. Cover your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
For Smooth, Dandruff-free Hair: Whisk two egg whites until frothy and mix with two teaspoons of fresh lemon juice. Wet your hair and apply the mixture. Massage for about 5 minutes, then cover your hair and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
Underarm Odor Control
Boil two eggs and peel them while still hot. Roll the hot eggs on your underarms until they cool down. Be careful not to burn your skin. Follow this with a paste of crushed ginger, applied to the underarms and left on for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. The heat from the eggs helps suppress sweat and odor-causing bacteria.
