As of now, the Investigative Agency of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police has prosecuted 19 defendants in the case to facilitate the investigation process.
Among the 19 defendants are Tran Thi Thu Hang (Vice Principal of Nguyen Van Huyen High School, Head of the Exam Site at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School) and Nguyen Ha Duy (Teacher at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School, Exam Site Secretary), who were charged with “Abuse of power while performing official duties.”
According to initial investigations, during the 2026 National High School Graduation Exam, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang, Vice Principal of Nguyen Van Huyen High School, was assigned as the Head of the Exam Site at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School.
Under Ms. Hang’s direction, several invigilators facilitated exam irregularities, allowing students to complete the Mathematics exam in violation of regulations. Among them, Nguyen Ha Duy, a teacher at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School, directly entered the exam room to guide several students in solving the Mathematics paper.
