Fingerprint Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your iPhone fingerprint:
Step 1: Open Settings, navigate to Touch ID & Passcode, and input your passcode.
Step 2: Select Add a Fingerprint.
Step 3: Position your finger on the Home button until Adjust Your Grip appears, then press Continue.
Step 4: Remove your finger and reposition it slightly on the Home button until Done appears, then press Continue.
Step 5: Once complete, select a name for the new fingerprint and save.
Note:
- Gently place your finger on the Home button.
- When the sensor vibrates, lightly lift your finger from the Home button and tap it again.
- Complete the process only when the on-screen fingerprint representation is fully developed.
Adding Fingerprints
After completing the initial fingerprint setup, you can add additional fingerprints:
Step 1: Select Add a Fingerprint in the Touch ID & Passcode settings on your device.
