Clean and shiny mirror like new

When cleaning the bathroom, don’t forget to clean the mirror because it is often stained with water streaks and dust.

Use tea bags

First, soak 3 black tea bags in cold water, wait until the tea is completely soaked, then remove the bags. Then pour the tea into a spray bottle and use newspaper to wipe the mirror. Doing this will not leave any fabric fibers on the surface.

Use lemon

You cut the lemon in half and rub the lemon on the mirror. Wait for a few minutes then spray clean water on the mirror and then wipe it clean with a soft cloth.

Transform the old bathtub into new

This method helps remove dirt and yellow stains in the bathtub, restoring it to its original white color. First, mix equal parts of white vinegar and dish soap. Then use a dish scrubber and the mixture to scrub away long-standing stains on the bathtub.

Polish the sink

Over time, the sink can accumulate yellow stains, moss, and deposits. However, you should not use cleaning agents for the porcelain sink as it will damage the enamel. This method is less harmful and does not damage the enamel, so you can apply it.

First, close the drain plug of the sink and then pour warm water into the sink (do not use hot water at 100 degrees Celsius as it will damage the enamel and can burn you). Then use a toothbrush and toothpaste to scrub the stains. Then remove the drain plug. The water along with the toothpaste will wash away all the residues on the sink.

Clean the toilet

Instead of using toilet cleaner, you can use salt and vinegar to save money and avoid damaging your hands during the toilet cleaning process.

You dissolve 1 teaspoon of iodized salt in a cup of white vinegar. Then pour the mixture into the toilet bowl, wait for about 10-15 minutes. Then scrub with a specialized tool.

Clean the showerhead

After a period of use, the showerhead can become clogged with dirt, blocking the water sprays. In this case, you can take a plastic bag and fill it with vinegar. Then tightly tie the plastic bag with a rubber band to the showerhead, making sure the head is submerged in vinegar. After about 1 hour, remove the bag and flush the showerhead with water.

Remove rust stains from stainless steel

Stainless steel faucets make the bathroom space more luxurious. However, if they rust, it will have the opposite effect. To make the stainless steel faucet shine, mix dishwasher detergent and warm water. Then dip a soft cloth into the solution and wipe around the stainless steel objects. Finally, rinse with water.

Clean the shower curtain

The shower curtain can accumulate steam and if not cleaned for a long time, it can develop black mold stains. You should clean them at least once a month.

First, mix 500ml of detergent with 20g of laundry detergent and pour the solution into a spray bottle. Spray the solution on the shower curtain and let it sit for about 10 minutes, then spray again with clean water.

Prevent bathroom glass from fogging

If you don’t want the bathroom glass to fog up, mix hydrogen peroxide with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Then use a cotton pad soaked in this solution and wipe it on the glass surface. With this method, the glass will be clean and no longer fog up every time you take a shower.

Clean the bathroom ceiling

The bathroom ceiling often absorbs water vapor, so black mold spots will appear over time. In addition, the bathroom ceiling also collects dust.

To clean it, mix white vinegar with warm water in a 1:1 ratio. Use a cotton towel dipped in the solution and wipe the bathroom ceiling clean.

When doing this, wear safety glasses to prevent the solution or any dust from getting into your eyes and causing injury.
