History

Viet Capital Commercial Joint Stock Bank officially started its operation in the Vietnamese market in 1992. Initially, this bank was called Gia Dinh Commercial Joint Stock Bank. Then, on December 13, 2011, the State Bank of Vietnam approved the renaming of the bank to Viet Capital Commercial Joint Stock Bank. It is known to be a private bank with 100% capital contribution from foreign shareholders.

As of June 30, 2022, the charter capital of Bản Việt Bank has reached over 3,600 billion VND. Bản Việt Bank has its headquarters at HM Town Building, 412 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
