How to make a tower of lucky cakes for Tet 2024

Preparing the materials

• 9 boxes of paper-wrapped cakes similar to Choco-pie 66g boxes
• 1 round-shaped glitter gift wrapping fabric
• 1 round cardboard
• 1 ribbon bow
• Candle adhesive (if a glue gun is available, that would be even better)
• Decorative accessories: Fake flowers, fake gold peacock feathers, red couplets hanging strings, etc.

Detailed steps of execution

Step 1: Place the round-shaped gift wrapping fabric at the bottom, then place the round cardboard in the center as the base. Start arranging and fixing the positions of the cake boxes as follows:

• On the first layer, stack 5 cake boxes vertically to form a circle with the main side (the side with the largest “Choco-pie” logo) facing outwards. Use candle adhesive to secure the cake boxes together and to the base.
• On the second layer, stack 3 cake boxes in a way that one side of each cake box forms an equilateral triangle with the others, and the main side faces forward. Continue using candle adhesive to firmly fix the cake boxes.
• For the third and final layer, you only need to place one cake box in the middle and rotate the main side forward, then fix it securely to the second layer with candle adhesive.

Step 2: Fold the edges of the gift wrapping fabric at the bottom to cover the first layer of the cake tower, then use the ribbon bow to wrap around the outside to secure this layer of fabric.

Step 3: Use candle adhesive to stick the decorative accessories onto the cake tower in a beautiful way according to your preferences, then it’s done.
